1. Scope of Service
IP Vault provides an automated platform for timestamping, hashing, and bundling legal declarations and media assets to establish verifiable proof of creation under copyright laws (including UK CDPA 1988).
2. Tokens & Payment Terms
Access to IP protection runs is structured on a token credit model. Tokens are purchased via Stripe:
- 1 Token = £10
- 3 Tokens = £25
- 10 Tokens = £80
Each IP protection submission consumes exactly 1 token credit. Purchased tokens are non-refundable once credited to an account unless required by mandatory law.
3. User Responsibilities & Data Preservation
File Storage Notice: IP Vault generates bundled ZIP archives in-memory and provides them for instant local download by the user. Media files uploaded during a submission are NOT retained on IP Vault servers. Users are solely responsible for securely storing their original media files and generated ZIP archives alongside the returned OpenTimestamps `.ots` proof file.
4. Limitation of Liability
IP Vault provides cryptographic assertions and formal legal declarations as tooling for intellectual property documentation. While OpenTimestamps leverages public blockchain networks for proof of existence, IP Vault does not replace formal statutory trademark or patent registrations where legally required.

Software Utility Only: IP Vault is a technical software application, timestamping utility, and automated document template provider. IP Vault is NOT a law firm, solicitor's practice, or legal services provider, and does NOT provide legal advice, legal opinion, or legal representation. All legal declaration templates, codicil drafts, and estate statements generated by IP Vault are self-service tools provided for user convenience and cryptographic evidence under the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (CDPA). Users seeking tailored legal advice, statutory trademark/patent registration, or complex estate planning should consult a qualified UK solicitor or registered IP attorney.
